The Kapalili Perinatal Resource Hub is a new resource meant to connect pregnant and parenting patients and families with services in their community.  Rather than serving as a patient-facing tool, the hub will support direct connections among perinatal service providers, enabling warm handoffs and helping patients and families access needed resources more quickly.  This resource hub is a collaborative research project involving the University of Hawaii's Family Planning Research Center of Hawai'i, The Queen's Medical Center, Tagata Moana Hui Foundation, and Hawai'i Perinatal Research, Equity and Services Collaborative, and developed with input from partners and perinatal service providers throughout Hawai'i.  The hub is intended to be a dynamic, accurate, and useful resource for to connecting patients with the specific services they need, efficiently. 

When the resource hub launches, information about each service provider will be accessible only to approved users who login to a secure system.  These users will be able to access details about how to contact an organization, how to refer patients, and who to call or connect with to make a referral.  Our goal is to make it easier and faster for providers to connect with each other to connect their clients or patients to services as quickly as possible.
